Chido Chido

This is a mixture of various kinds of photography I do. The middle image I took with a pinhole camera (a camera you make out of a shoe box) of the back of my foot standing in the courtyard of the art department. I then went into the dark room and made a positive image of the negative and also layered a poem over the top of the image so when the light shone threw from the enlarger the words seeped through onto the image. Next I scanned the image into photo shop and collaged it with various bright images I took in mexico last summer to create an indie shadow box feel to the image. Or at least thats what I get from it. Let me know what you think. This is my favorite kind of art.

  1. I like it, I've always really been into text with photos (especially black and white for some reason). The white space at the bottom is distracting, as well as the abrupt edge at the top. Cool though. Love the pic at the bottom!
